How to Cite CEXRES
CEXRES publishes six artifacts that are intended to be cited: a glossary, an AI visibility benchmark, the ten frameworks, and the RAAS, AIVS and standards pages. Each has a stable canonical URL and a ready-made citation string below. No permission is required to quote or cite them; attribution is requested only so that readers can reach the underlying method.
All artifacts are dated 2026-11-07. If you are citing a specific measurement, include the access date, because benchmark figures are re-run and superseded.
55 defined terms across generative engine optimization, crawler access, citation mechanics, measurement, markup, delivery and commercial model. Every definition is a complete statement in one or two sentences, so a single entry can be quoted without surrounding context.

}Ten named frameworks: RICE, AIEO, AIVS, ACES, RAAS, E-E-A-T, Agentic, SHI, Tri-Currency and Zero-Human. Each has its own page with dimensions and weights, so a citation can point at the specific framework rather than the collection.

}Get notified when a citable artifact changes
A citation that points at a superseded figure is worse than no citation. Leave a work email and you will be told when a framework, the benchmark or the standards page is revised — before the old figure circulates further.
Stored by CEXRES to notify you of revisions only. All citation formats above are free to use without it.
Citing a single definition
Individual glossary entries have their own anchors, so a citation can point at the exact term instead of the whole page — for example https://cexres.com/glossary#oai-searchbot for the OAI-SearchBot definition. Anchors are stable: a term is never renamed, only added.
For machine use, the glossary is also published as a Schema.org DefinedTermSet in JSON-LD, so definitions can be extracted with their names and identifiers intact.
What we ask, and what we do not
- Asked: link to the specific page or anchor, not the homepage, so the reference points at the claim.
- Asked: include the access date for any figure, since benchmarks are superseded.
- Not required: prior permission, a reciprocal link, or a specific wording. Quote the definition as written or paraphrase it — either is fine, and neither is licensed.
- Not claimed: this page does not list third parties who have cited CEXRES. If a citation is added here later, it will name the source so it can be checked.
